Sanur Harbor On our fourth day, we moved to Kuta, just a few minutes from the airport. We chose to stay here for convenience, so our trip back wouldn’t be a hassle. After checking in, we explored the area and started canvassing for places to buy pasalubong. Since our hotel was only a short walk from the beach, we spent the afternoon strolling along Kuta’s windy shoreline—the breeze was refreshing, and the atmosphere felt laid-back and relaxed. Kuta Beach One thing we noticed right away: Kuta feels much more touristy compared to Ubud. Almost everyone we saw were travelers like us—backpackers, surfers, and vacationers. Locals were mostly working in the shops, hotels, and restaurants.
